Mike co-founded Transect in 2025 following a year-long exercise to identify disruptive companies providing critical services to the offshore wind supply chain for a single-family office.

Before founding Transect, he built a client portfolio spanning firms stewarding $60 billion in assets and advised on more than $4 billion of transactions across Africa, the Americas, Asia, and Europe. Over more than 15 years, he has helped investors and entrepreneurs grow businesses across the technology, energy, life sciences, healthcare, financial services, and telecoms sectors. He began his career supporting senior strategists at the U.S. Department of Defense.

Mike specialises in identifying high-conviction opportunities, shaping strategic direction, and positioning firms for growth. He has founded and built new ventures, launched business lines, and developed strategic partnerships with leading global firms. His approach blends entrepreneurial drive, strategic insight, and operational rigour, and he thrives in complex, high-stakes environments that demand agility, focus, and precision.

Mike holds an MA in International Relations and Economics with a specialisation in International Finance from the Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies.
